Selinda – Thank you as well!! I never worked much before I was married and I had kids and it just did not pay to work and pay day care if I did not have a good paying job. I was not old enough to draw yet from hubby’s soc sec. unless he passed and I qualify for a “disabled” widows payment as I am not with youngsters or 60 yet to get a widows check automatically. 50-60 year old widows can qualify if they are disabled.

Happy Mother’s Day Everyone!!!

Found out the kittens are so small that they can crawl thru crack in side of steps out of my back porch and found out accidentally….W

Went out garage–saleing as had city wide sales..got some more flowers and will nurse them along and hope back will let me dig holes for them and put in ground..Also found old gas can–metal round one…,some curtain valences to be used in bathroom that were beige, silk flowers that were lilacs in white and pink,silver curling ribbon all for a quarter each..the flowers were $1.00 each but didnt have pink columbine,peach daylily,penstamen..think they have red flowers on for the hummingbirds..but is only 1 plant…Got other flowers at P.E.O. flower and bake sale lady had at her house..she wants some of my allium seeds and asked how they grow, told her to put in ground and water like the rain does and they grow for me…so she will do and nothing happens I will be embarrassed…Maybe I should put some in pots and see if will get started for her??? Opinion needed ladies??
Did wash of blankets and other clothes and then at 3pm went to 3rd cousins graduation party and saw everyone of his Dad’s side there and also my neighbor…Going to bed as has been along day…

Thoughts and prayers that you can ‘easily’ get all that Social Security worked out.

Because I was a teacher mostly in Missouri and we have a really excellent teacher retirement, I do not get any Social Security benefits. Of course I do get Medicare. Plus I am not eligible to collect any of my DH’s Social Security either. Makes no sense to me because I worked in Oklahoma as a school counselor and also held other jobs in Oklahoma when I was much younger and therefore paid into Social Security.

Oh, dear, my DH just told me that I DO get $30 a month in Social Security but that all goes to Medicare. HUH??? I just can not understand that at all. $30 a month! WOW!!! How stupid is that?

Our government at work! But not for us ordinary citizens. :)

It’s not been easy on me lately for sure!
So much stuff to get through and paperwork to file etc.
I have been running each and every day getting things done and behind me.
It has been unreal and now battling for Soc Sec will be another fight for me I’m sure!

Saw Whitey today with her kittens and are so cute!
I thot something had happened cuz she was meowing so deep that I thot some Tomcat had gotten them killed as some Toms do…Think Mooch is the father as the runt has some tabby markings on his face in sepia brown…and since he is runt is so skittish when he sees me…the other 2 are cautious of me but dont look away but do hide and then peek out at me from peony bush…when want to take pict are so keen of hearing just get tails instead of faces… will try to get picts one of these days IF tomcats dont get them…Have some mums that I nursed thru the winter that are going to bloom..has 4-5 blooms on and are dark fuschia…and have to plant my 4 o’clocks seeds..will have many colors for blooms..and plant my freesia bulbs one of these days…but not tomorrow for sure…Was nice day, sunny and in upper 70′s and tomorrow talking 80′s but am not holding breath!!! nite all…

gibbs and Jamie worked on a show many yrs ago..think St. Elsewhere but could be wrong. I hope all the characters on both shows of NCIS come back next fall!! Really love Hetty even tho she doesnt get a big role only now and then…loved her getting in the video that Sam was working against..!!! Watched the show Unforgettable and is ok but got to wonder if they really got her sister’s killer…since she remembers the RV…only time and if renewed will find out…All for now…and love your flowers!!
